    A BILL TO AMEND THE SOUTH CAROLINA CODE OF LAWS BY AMENDING SECTION 12-37-220, RELATING TO PROPERTY TAX EXEMPTIONS, SO AS TO PROVIDE AN EXEMPTION FOR CERTAIN AFFORDABLE HOUSING; AND BY ADDING SECTION 59-17-170 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT A SCHOOL DISTRICT IS AUTHORIZED TO USE SURPLUS LAND FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF CERTAIN AFFORDABLE HOUSING.
